Israeli school books will have maps that show Israel border as it was prior to 1967. The Education Minister, Yuli Tamir, started the organization, Peace Now, which opposes Jewish settlement in the occupied territories.
Tamir's decision prompted the inevitable howls of rage from lawmakers, settlers and religious leaders who claim the West Bank as part of greater Israel. If I was Tamir I'd be sure to keep my life insurance payments up to date.
