I grew up just a few miles from Motown HQ on West Grand Blvd. and, like all Windsor teens, was immersed in this music. A while ago I overheard "Funk Brothers" on a PBS show and my ears picked up. I was lucky enough to catch the documentary and I can honestly say it is a "must have" for any Motown fan.
The Funk Brothers - you've got to see them to believe them. This group of Blues and Jazz genii gave birth to more hit songs than Elvis, the Beach Boys, the Stones and the Beatles COMBINED!
