The Captain and his Faithful Lieutenants

It isn't often a picture tells it all. This one is different.

Hmm, where is Dion? His party has voted with this government more often than Layton's. I know that pains Liberals, but it is true. I also know Liberals aren't particularly troubled by the truth either. I am just sayin, is all.

True, the Libs have voted more often than the nDp to keep this parliament alive; unlike the last time, when the NdP jumped on the Harpor bandwagon to kill the last one -- which resulted in the death of accords Kelowna, Kyoto and Atlantic (and add national child care strategy, too). Of course Layton had the choice of waiting a few months then, but because one of his leutenants had a scoop handed to them by the RCmP (with dubious intention) they couldn't keep their paws off the election lever.
All parties in minority situation are operating under their own interests, primarily. And Greg is right, Libs aren't denying that right now the party is better served to wait and build up its resources for the next fight.
What is extremely interesting is how the NdP, in its rush to fill the 'second-choice' option would sacrifice all the above programs and then pretend it had nothing to do with it...
