First He Loses Klein's Seat, Now He's Losing Alberta

The Alberta Progressive Conservatives appear to have picked a lemon in chosing Ed "Special Ed" Stelmach to succeed Ralph Klein as premier.

The governing party's popularity has collapsed to 39% in recent polls.

The only comforting news for Stelmach's conservatives is that the Liberals have come up just 8 points to 20%.

The numbers don't mean that Stelmach would be at risk of losing in a general election, at least not one held right now.
