Six NATO soldiers and their Afghan interpreter have been killed by a roadside bomb in Kandahar. The nationalities of the dead soldiers are unknown but Kandahar is the province that Canadian forces notionally control.
The soldiers' vehicle was destroyed by an IED, improvised explosive device.
