Steve Fossett Disappearance Solved?

Multi-millionaire adventurer Steve Fossett has been missing since his light plane disappeared last September. An exhaustive search on a scale matched by few others was conducted and came up empty. Now a hiker in the woods in the Mammoth Lakes region of eastern California has come upon what appear to be Fossett's identity cards, a quantity of cash and a sweat jacket.

Fossett was perhaps best known for completing the first solo circumnavigation of the world in a balloon, a record set in 2002. He also piloted the first, non-stop round the world flight in a conventional aircraft, taking 2-days, 19-hours. He had set a total of 100-records.
