What resources they are able to retain will go largely on relocation costs.

I already see signs of that here in my little seaside town. We have a neighbourhood of really elegant 60s/70s homes in a waterfront enclave. It now gets periodically inundated, the cumulative result of sea level rise, storm surges, and early melt of the nearby mountain snowpack. The municipality has prohibited any further construction. If/when your house is done, it's done. Those homeowners are facing a total loss of equity. For some that's a big hit.The Mound of Soundhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09023839743772372922noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32931256.post-31061100096623009582017-07-01T08:01:02.265-07:002017-07-01T08:01:02.265-07:00This comment has been removed by the author.UU4077https://www.blogger.com/profile/10350775839411436865noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32931256.post-39164560112634796712017-07-01T08:00:51.147-07:002017-07-01T08:00:51.147-07:00Continuous upgrades to infrastructure and increase...Continuous upgrades to infrastructure and increased military spending. (The Guardian article sort of changes direction after making that statement.) What I can see is that many people are going to be burned out in one fashion or another. What I don't see is how that makes someone else rich. Tobynoreply@blogger.com
