The Globe's Margaret Wente has unveiled
what derailed the Justin Trudeau Memorial TransMountain Pipeline - those damned "activist" judges on the Federal Court of Appeals.
It seems Maggie didn't need to digest the 263-page decision. You know, the whole law bit. Nope. It was just another plot by activist judges, the same sort who keep thwarting his imperial Majesty down in Washington.
Laws. We don' need no steenkin' laws.
As Ford is discovering here in Ontario, that law thingy can be such a bother.
ReplyDeletePeggy knows that laws and judges are mutually exclusive. Just another old reformatory.
ReplyDelete.. I have a fair list of no go, no read, no fly zone. Wente hit that list long ago. As did Trump, Rex Murphy, Lord Black of Cumquat, Stephen Harper, various n sundry political preeners, posturers, has beens.. There are good folks deserving of a 2nd read and follow up thought.. and there are those not worth spit.. ie the very low echelon like Brian Lilley, Sun writers, Ezra, Andrew Scheer, Rawna Bwana, Doug Ford, Lisa Raitt, Jason Kenney, John Boy Baird, Poilievre, Clement, Peter Kent, Joe Oliver etc
ReplyDeleteSal, the 2nd read list please.
ReplyDeleteMargaret Wente is a broken down right wing hack, a plagiarist, and a climate change denier whose only merit is in recording her predictions and then laughing how far off they are in a few years time. Why the Globe keeps her on is a fairly large mystery unless it is to appeal to right-wing/flat earth reader segment.

ReplyDeleteDon't forget those so-called "legislative reporters" alias BC Lib mouthpieces that Post Media and Glo-ball liked to throw at us like they were eye candy or something. This would of course include the overall champion of both-siderism, Vaughn Palmer.
I've believed for years that Wente has Philip Crawley's balls in her handbag and she gives them a good hard squeeze every now and then just for hellery.
