You Feelin' Like You Need a Laugh?
When I "cut the cable" I lost my connection to CBC's 22 Minutes. I still haven't worked out what to do with that but I have reconnected with 22 Minutes. The satire is pretty awesome, enough to make any Canuck proud. Here, a few.
No harm meant, Maxime. Maybe a bit.
Then, for your nightcap, this. I think it will outlive us all.
I was reminded that the government awarded - supported - pot sellers seem unable to make a profit.. which seems laughable & hilarious as the 3rd clip. 22 should do a skit of a 'Performance Evaluation' of those companies executives.. I hope they have done or will do one on the grotesque farce of The Phoenix Payment System.. still battling after all these years 'to pay people in a prompt & accurate manner'
first Still Standing and then This hr has 22 minutes. its a blank then until Stephen Corbett at 11;30 p.m. that Tuesday night hr. of Canadian comedy, helps make my week and also get through it.
What we ought to learn from "still standing" is corporations, when they're finished with a town really do not care about it or its people and neither do the governments who are supposed to. Its left to regular citizens to try to keep their towns going. We ought to simply remove all those tax breaks corporations receive. Its not like they're doing much to earn them, well nothing, its a gift from governments to help them stay rich, while we, who pay these taxes, try to keep our heads afloat. We ought to remember most Canadian live pay cheque to pay cheque. corporations live on forever, sucking the life blood out of everything they can.
.. outstanding ! Hurt myself laughing.. !
