The more they throw their weight around, the more they expose themselves. <br /><br />People will start to ask themselves: who put them in charge? They will also begin to question: create and empire to prevent an empire? How does that make any sense?<br /><br />The European Union is a fig-leaf of false hope. A pretense of progress while plutocrats whittle away living standards from above the fray of democracy.<br /><br />It needs some big reforms to say the least.
