Actual antisemitism from the Breitbart right is unimportant to them; the important kind of "antisemitism" for them is principled human rights stances by the BDS movement.Purple library guyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01930984683714519212noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32931256.post-48741272390805544332018-02-27T17:32:52.660-08:002018-02-27T17:32:52.660-08:00Like Hans-Joachim Schoeps, many Jewish Republican ...Like Hans-Joachim Schoeps, many Jewish Republican intellectuals are recoiling at the house of horrors they helped create. People like Max Boot, Jennifer Rubin, David Brooks and others have spoken out against Trump. Unfortunately, many haven't come to grips with the fact that Trump could die tomorrow and the GOP monster factory will go right on producing more Atwaters, Bushs, Palins, Pences, Roves, Falwells, Gingrichs, Delays, McConnells, Moores, Ryans, Cruzes, Limbaughs, Hannitys, Coulters, Joneses and Bannons.

Trump has no coherent policy that could be called Trumpism. What we're seeing is the result of decades of pushing Republicans further and further to the right. What used to be whispered is now said out loud, and what's on offer is Republicanism.

Cap
Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
