One of the few good aspects of getting older is the ability, hatched out of long experience, to link ideas, to connect dots and just follow them where they take you. Every now and then you have an epiphany, you see something clearly that had been obscure for so long. <br /><br />This essay and the previous piece are incomplete. I just ran out of steam. I posted them with the intent of coming back, editing and concluding them. It's that Road to Hell thing, I suppose. <br /><br />Yes, you can be a "disagreeable old git at times."
