Other Than That, Mrs. Lincoln, How Did You Like the Play?

The World Bank has released a report warning that the cost of coping with natural disasters could triple to - wait for it - $185-billion a year by the end of the century.

The report was written by a pair of economists who, to their credit, admit that their calculations don't include the cost of climate change impacts.   Which makes me ask, "why bother?"

If climate scientists are right, by the end of this century the last thing we'll be worrying about is a paltry $185-billion a year.
