Senate Republican Leader Says Casey Anthony Proves Terrorists Can't be Tried in U.S. Courts

Salon.com is spot on in saying when it comes to Republicans, there is no limit to, 'the shamelessness and venality of these guys.'

For proof of that statement the story turns to Senate minority leader Mitch McConnell's claim that U.S. courts aren't fit to try foreign terrorists and the Casey Anthony aquittal proves it.

"These are not American citizens. We just found with the Caylee (sic)Anthony case how difficult it is to get a conviction in a U.S. court," McConnell told "Fox News Sunday." "I don't think a foreigner is entitled to all the protection in the Bill of Rights. They should not be in U.S. courts and before military commissions."
