I'm not Sure We Need "by your leave" to Actually Leave

What if British Columbians decided we'd rather be independent than Alberta's and Ottawa's sodomites?

What if we actually told the "ROC" rest of Canada to f--k off with their pipelines and bullshit?

We could quite easily force you to leave us instead of the other way around as Quebec has endured.

Piss off, we will do quite well without you.  It won't happen overnight.  It will take perhaps a generation, two decades, to consolidate but we will get by very well without you.

Screw you and your mega-droughts.   Up yours with your heatwaves.  If you won't defend our coast then your problems are irrelevant to ours.  We'll take care of ourselves. If you don't get that, just try to run that pipeline out here.

We are the most beautiful environment in Canada and despite the proximity of Hyper-Conservative Canada, we're becoming a lot more embracing of our Interior and our pristne coast.  Does Ottawa, even with Alberta and, apparently, the rest of Eastern Canada (you're all easterners to us) really want to see this happen?

  1. Nicely said. I'm getting sick of Alberta and Ottawa telling us how we should live and trying to dictate our choices. I live in BC because it is beautiful and it is free. Drives those in the aforementioned places nuts. Fine by me.

  2. Don't let a faux 'westerner' and his corrosive cabinet and party get the best of you. And for sure don't let political animals from inside your own provincial borders screw you around and make deals they were not elected to deal with. Nobody in Canada wants to see Quebec, BC or Cape Breton Island secede. That would be like cutting off an arm a leg or our head. Only a morally bankrupt and self absorbed ass clown prime minister would see that as 'progressive' or a good 'reform'.. and good for Canada

Canadians need to stand up tall, speak clearly about what they believe in, and bluntly declare what they find unacceptable in their elected representatives. When a Minister of Health declares that asbestos related deaths are not within her mandate and any questions should be directed to the Minister of Resources from Bay Street, alarm bells should go off across the entire country. Same with infected wild salmon, same with poisoned waters, same with military accounting errors, same with electoral fraud, same with zero transparency and maximum obstruction of justice. Same with gazebos, same with Haida elders being branded as eco-terrorists and sanctimonious asshats like Toews, Oliver and Kenney spewing their venomous nonsense to most of the mainstream media.

This Harper cabal is ripe for an ass kicking.. and being pitched from their comfy coven in Ottawalberta. If its beautiful British Columbia that finally defies these creeps, thugs and sycophants.. great. You would think it would start in Alberta where the petro rot has really taken hold. Or the Maritimes where they're used to being taken for granted. I dunno.. my feeling is it will be the First Nations taking Harper et al to the Supreme Court while standing fast in the boreal and rain forests and on our Pacific shoreline.. to lower the curtain and lower the boom on this depraved and completely f'd up and so called 'good' government.. pimped as transparent and accountable..

I feel like puking when I hear Harper proclaim 'you aint seen nothing yet' .. while wearing a jacket with CANADA on it in 6 inch letters while touring in the arctic resource lands. Well neither has he seen nothin yet... ie complete and utter disgrace... We're all witnesses, we're all writing the current chapter of a land called Canada.. and in my eyes BC and all its people are intrinsic, priceless, inseparable and inspiring to that reality.. and completely opposed to Steve from Toronto's distorted and twisted bad dream for Canada

If you want some help out there in BC .. I'll head west toute suite.. I'll ask my son to come with me and will ask my friends and neighbors to join me as well. This is our country.. and though I always knew we might have to defend it from foreign invaders.. I'm ready to defend Canada against vermin, carpet baggers, corporate puppets or sellout politicians from within. I know you have exemplars in BC that can tell us where we can be of use..

Hold fast BC ... you have an entire country backing you ... That is your coast.. your forest .. your people.. not the trade goods and empire of a pompous government in Ottawa.

  3. And add the loss of 200 billion dollars a year from taxes that are being hidden in the Cayman Islands by very rich Canadians. That is by the way, just the Caymans not to mention other places in the world.

  4. Something else to add to the list........
Alarming rise in acid levels threaten world’s oceans and marine species
    .
    .By Scott Sutherland

Scientists have been comparing the current conditions in the world's oceans with historical and fossil records, …On Monday, Science Daily reported about an international team of scientists that have been comparing the current conditions in the world's oceans with historical and fossil records, and are seeing an alarming connection.

The article, titled Extinctions in ancient and modern seas, has been published in Trends in Ecology and Evolution and discusses the relationships between past mass extinctions and the conditions of today's oceans.

According to the article, of the five largest extinctions that have happened in the last 500 million years, three of those were caused by climate change and ocean acidification, with the other two reportedly due to pollution, oxygen loss from seawaters, loss of habitat and human activity.

Besides climate change, acid acidification is one of the biggest problems we face due to carbon dioxide emissions. The oceans take up roughly half of what human activity pumps into the atmosphere, and the rising levels of carbonic acid in the water threaten the survival of marine species.

"We wanted to understand what had driven past extinctions of sea life and see how much of those conditions prevailed today," said co-author Professor John Pandolfi, of the University of Queensland, according to Science Daily.

"It is very useful to look back in time -- because if you forget your history, you're liable to repeat it."

  6. MOGS, I deleted your comment because you used language that could be interpreted, in some corners, as threatening. There's no place for that sort of thing and it could easily land you in trouble.

Please try to understand that Harper has already created a secret police agency for the pipeline comprised of officers of the Calgary and Edmonton police, the RCMP and CSIS. Yes, that's right, we have our national spy agency unleashed on the Canadian public without so much as a whimper of outrage. Still and all, they're looking to identify people who could be suspected to being willing to resort to violence over the pipeline.

I hope your angry remarks are hyperbole born out of frustration but you really must tone it down.

  7. I am in no mood Mound of no Sound, to tone it down, let them come and take this old man [me] away...

They certainly would not be doing themselves allot of favors...

I have friends around the globe...

And I will not bend to Stephen Harper's treasonous treachery, I suppose by your off the wall response to me you are A) trying to protect me? Huh, I'm old enough to be your great grand-pa and do not need that type of help! Step down. or B) You are a Stephen clone Con artist?

Don't publish me, like I really give a Flying F*** @ a Rolling Doughnut? It shows you love Stephen, does it not? You Con Party in the back wings waiting girl? You issued me a threat and censor me and allow Stephen to spew forth lies?

I am attempting to save what is left of the free world with all the flora and fauna intact...

And I see you are not with me, a robot I suppose are you?

Ow geez I'm already pained by your kindergarten mind, I apologize; my mistake for trying to socialize with a F**K the planet person to get what you want type, eh?

Stephen Harper loves you and you two look great together. How is that polluting car you drive running? Heating up the planet plus killing life? And how much money have you collected to screw the earth, which is your campaign, along with the republicans in USA and the conservatives under your hero Harper in Canada, are you riding well with it? Will you have enough money collected to line your grave with gold, you petite dictator? When the coral reefs die because of you and your car will you still be the unaffected conservative or liberal of Canada? ? ? ? ?

I don't much prefer people like you, you make us lose what is right to stand up for? So sorry about the bitter disagreement you Earth hating slobs feel good about...

If you had an ounce of a real human brain that genetics and heriditary gave you, you would be able to solve the riddle of ages, which I give to you because I feel for you, Earth, spell again? The letters earth are rearranged as a truth before language got scrambled are Heart><Earth Earth is and has always been the heart center of the universe.

Only I do not have the time to deal with you, the other fiction is the universe, actually that which really exists is an omniverse, that means many more verses than one.

    You dig?

Love Mogs:) and by the way your capthca codes reflect on who you really are... a zombie?

And as well as censoring as much as the main stream press, you are no different, now I know who you are - a Stephen clone...eh?

    Good luck in Steve's newfoundland:(

  8. People reading this blog be aware you are being censored just as in the main stream press also called media. And here we thought freedom could flourish?

Mound of Sound you should re-brand as Mound of Censorship...

Duh why did you not think of that first?

Canadians are not allowed to speak their minds on this blogg.......................

  9. Look Mogs, angry threats to shoot people aren't welcome on this site and I think few others would disagree. You're the sort of hot head who plays into the hands of Enbridge and guys like Harper. So, feast on your emotions if you must, but take it somewhere else.

  10. "Look Mogs, angry threats to shoot people..."

I never said or insinuated your term not mine "...shoot people..." excuse me where did that broad side come from?

Shooting people is what the Harper Con's do best in foreign countries, are you then with that and feel good about the dying Afghanistan people because you can hide in your stolen home? Stolen from the first nations that is.

I simply won't back down when I know I'm right and you?

I do not own guns nor do I espouse the 'shooting' of anything alive, sorry, your comments are off the wall.

I do enjoy your blog but I hate being corn-holed as a red neck, I am a survivor and the only time my neck is red is when it is sunburned...

What else can I tell you to make you stop picking on me? Eh?

    You seem to feast on...

  11. Look Mogs, this is what you wrote, a direct quote:

"Keep your hands off of BC or die in the process of trying to undermine us. You dig?"

Anyone not totally unhinged would take that as a threat of violence and that's unacceptable here. So, please, just go away.

  12. "Keep your hands off of BC or die in the process of trying to undermine us. You dig?"

Yes and where does that state "shooting people"?

People will unfortunately die over this Harper Con mess.

You are to young to know about the Kent State massacre where the Ohio State Guard shot students over the protesting of the Vietnam war on campus. Let's try this one on you John Lennon a peacemaking Beatle assassinated by John Hinckly jr. a close confident of the Bush family? For speaking out. Yes Ex president George W Bush and Ex president father H. W Bush, so unfortunately it is not wise to speak against the Military Industrial Banking Complex that the US general Douglas MacArthur warned us about just before President Kennedy was assassinated for standing up to the cartel [Complex] and again the Bush family has been implicated in that murder.

Things are not as simple as you would have them be...

    I wish they were...

Well when the protests start you can go to your barred Harper hotel[jail] but most likely I will give my life defending what I love best the Earth, I will have no weapons except my voice to cry out against this insanity 'The Red Chinese Harper-con Northern Gateway Pipeline' And you dislike my stance? I have never judged you.

  13. Too young to know about Kent State? I can clearly recall reading all about it in the international version of Time magazine while soaking in a tub in Barcelona following a 14-hour motorcycle ride from Rouen, France. Sorry, Mogs, but I'm no kid. I also did my undergrad in the States while the students rose up against the Viet Nam war.

Mogs, you're getting your "lone assassins confused. John Hinckly Jr., was from the Maine social cohort of the Bush family, but he attempted to shoot Ronnie Raygun, (which would have conveniently made H.W. Bush preznit of course).

Mark Chapman shot John Lennon, and by the way was denied parole for the seventh time today.

  17. "The Kent State shootings—also known as the May 4 massacre or the Kent State massacre[2][3][4]—occurred at Kent State University in the U.S. city of Kent, Ohio, and involved the shooting of unarmed college students by the Ohio National Guard on Monday, May 4, 1970. The guardsmen fired 67 rounds over a period of 13 seconds, killing four students and wounding nine others, one of whom suffered permanent paralysis."

So you were in a tub when the massacre took place mound of sound?

You must be older than my grand parents, unless your grammie was washing you clean?

And yes you are right, I was wrong kootcoot John Hinckly Jr shot Reagan...

Curious as curious can be when I enter 'Mark Chapman connection to bush family' on a google search this is what comes out?

Yes I am happy you caught my unintended goof, but how the hell are the two connected?
    I wish to know? Anybody...

  19. Mogs, there are a lot more skeletons in the Bush Family closet than the relationship between the Hinckleys and Bushes like:

    1. Granddaddy Walker and his trading with the Nazis throughout most of WWII, for which he was actually sanctioned finally, but with a light slap on the wrist.

    2. Granddaddy Walker was also suspected of being involved in an attempted coup against FDR before the war, but the cabal was ratted out by the General they approached to lead the Military Coup, who proved more loyal to the nation than the Bushes and their elite friends.

    3. We all know how Dubya avoided not only Vietnam, but went AWOL from even the Texas Air National Guard.

    4. Even Dubya's daddy, who at least showed up for his war may have abandoned his torpedo bomber crew mates when they were shot down as many witnesses said he (pilot) was first to abandon the plane, in direct violation of his duty to try and control the plane until the non-flying crewman could abandon the plane. Of course witnesses from WWII tend to be dead or bought off by now.

  20. kootcoot, You forgot this one daddy bush during WWII strafing a Japanese life boat which was contrary to Geneva Convention making him a war criminal as well. Seems like war criminals do well in the world...
