Madame premier wracked up a tab of $3,267.66 at Ferris Oyster Bar in Victoria and $2,279 at Bishops in Vancouver. Her Rogers and Telus cell phone bills added a further $100,000.
To put this in some perspective, premier Crispy more than doubled the annual tab run up by her predecessor, Gordo "I only had a couple of beers, officer" Campbell.
How are a potlatch, and Clark's personal spending in any way the same?
ReplyDeleteA potlatch is about the wealthy and powerful giving back to the community, whereas Clark's personal spent lavishly on herself.
A hundred years ago, during the Laurier government, my ancestors' kukpi (representative) traveled eastward, and returned, saying of the poverty they encountered, "In our communities, our leaders would have to shoot themselves if they allowed such conditions to exist in our communities."
