One bomber is dead following a shootout with Boston police. The other is on the run with police in hot pursuit. Both men are implicated in an earlier shooting that left a M.I.T. police officer dead.
Tamerlan Tsarnaev, 26, died in hospital, apparently of gunshot wounds. 19-year old Dzhokhar Tsarnaev is being hunted down in the Boston Watertown neighbourhood. News reports claim police have him cornered.
The suspects came to America with their families less than ten years ago from central Asia, having lived in Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan. The family is believed to be Chechen.
Let the anti-Muslim frenzy begin. You know it will.

This guy will move to top of the deck of playing cards: Doku Umarov.
He's definitely a role-model for the Boston attackers, even if there isn't a direct connection.
I just want to know how Dear Leader will react to this news.
I gather understanding motivations is definitely the Wrong Way to try try to deal with terrorism, if you're an officially proud Canadian.
If Harper, or any member of his cabinet, wishes to say some words about where these attackers came from, or whether events in Russia over the last decades motivated them, then those cabinet members should resign before doing so.
Well, Chris, the U.S. is facing a serious problem of what to do with all those surplus soldiers left over from its failed wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Maybe Putin will welcome them in to take a whack at Chechnya.
Harper, Baird, resign? Really? Yeah, sure.
This never happened. I agree that the government is to blame, however, you're using forged footage to damage their credibility, which only hurts our cause. Thoroughly do your research next time, please.

Mr. Harper took the opportunity of being in Britian to take a slice off of Justin Trudeau regarding Boston...YUCK!! Could he have not done that and continued with his own thoughts regarding Boston? What is with the trips overseas to make his comments or announcements as to what HIS government is doing.
