Every comic *and* comedian working today owes an enormous debt of gratitude to this marvelous man.
When he was a regular on the old Smothers Brothers Hour they used to set up a table for him every week. On the table would be a selection of stuff selected by everyone but Winters. Winters had 10 minutes to improve with every piece.
