Nigel Wright Falls on His Sword
Stephen Harper must feel isolated. He's shed senators like a mangy dog loses fur. And now his chief of staff, Nigel Wright, has packed it in, leaving the PMO under a very large, black cloud.
I just got a little feedback from my well-positioned Tory insider.
Seems Duffy did have the RBC loan arranged. The cheque he took instead from Nigel Wright wasn't his idea or Wright's either. That might be reason enough to jettison Wright at this point.
Source claims Steve Harper is behaving in "strange manner."
Wallin may resign. Duffy is staying. Apparently Tory senate leadership knew everything and approved all of Duffy's expenditures that now lie at the heart of the controversy.
Could this mean the wheels are beginning to come off the bus?

This could get bigger by the day.
Yup! Wallin is exspendable but Duffy isn't.
ReplyDeleteThe differences between Duffy's situation and Wallin's are vast, Anyong, but gender isn't one of them. Sorry.
