RCMP corporal Ron Francis is in lockup, charged with assaulting a fellow police officer on the weekend. The 21-year veteran, now suffering from PTSD, is being held for a psychiatric assessment.
I'm no expert on these things but I don't think you often hear of potheads charged with assault. Who knows?
It's a measure of how low our discourse has fallen that the poor bastard is the "pot smoking Mountie" and not "a Mountie with PTSD".
