Australian Open Calls Matches on Account of Heat

It's too damned hot to play tennis on outdoor courts in Melbourne, Australia.   Organizers of the Australian Open pro tournament have finally come to their senses and canceled matches scheduled to be played on outdoor courts.  Matches will go ahead in the Rod Laver stadium but with the roof closed.

Temperatures, currently at 40-41C are expected to drop 10-15C on the weekend.
