Solar Panels Endanger Firefighters?

This should make the fossil fuelers happy.  Rooftop solar panels supposedly present a threat to firefighters.  They, supposedly, could even prevent firefighters from saving your home.  That's right, they might just have to let her burn right to the ground.

This is a story that has gotten wide circulation in papers and news outlets  across North America.

In New Jersey, a state assemblyman and volunteer firefighter has introduced a bill that would require a warning sign on buildings that have rooftop solar arrays.  This is what the story is about, a September fire at a Dietz & Watson warehouse in New Jersey.  The company was a meat processor and, by all accounts, the smell during the fire and in the days afterward was horrific for the neighbours.
