Oooh, Feel the Burn
This is making the rounds of social media. Canada's new Defence Minister, a veteran of Bosnia and three tours of Afghanistan, and his esteemed Tory predecessors.
Interesting to observe two very experienced former senior army officers run for the Liberals, and the Conservatives seem to attract air force types (Hawn and the bloke in the upper-right of the picture). I wonder if that says something about institutional cultures...
The Libs have to RCAF types. One was the first woman to command a flying squadron. The other was an F-18 driver. I was surprised that Andrew Leslie didn't make it to cabinet.
