Canadians are pretty much accustomed to foreigners talking about how apparently polite we are (they haven't set foot on my lawn). American talk show hosts invariably make jokes about it.
Nothing, however, is as saccharine sweet as a piece from
BBC's travel section. Seriously, you'll be wanting to
get your blood sugar checked after reading this.
We sign so-called trade agreements which invite foreign companies and investors to sue us when they don't like our laws and policies.
