I'm Guessing This is Not a Good Thing

Strange things are happening in Russia's far north. There's been a small asteroid hit. Massive craters have erupted in the permafrost. An anthrax breakout from a long dead caribou carcass exposed by the melting tundra. Now this.


That's the Daldykan River near the Siberian city of Norilsk. Some suspect Norilsk Nickel's upstream operation has discharged chemicals into the river. The company says it's done no such thing.
