A Picture For the Conservative History Books

Jason Kenney, Ezra Levant, and an auditorium full of empty seats.

Kenney, meanwhile, turned down k.d. lang's offer of two free tickets to Calgary Pride over the Labour Day weekend.  Hard to say whether Kenney is balking at partaking in a LGBTQ celebration or if he still holds a grudge against lang for asking Kenney, "You're gay, aren't you?" in a tweet last March.

  2. Li'l Jason is in complete denial! What is that old saying? "The truth will set you free"? Unfortunately, Jason will never be honest and thereby lies his future. If his fellow political 'believers' cannot accept who he is (because a humans is being a true human) then he is in the wrong 'political' belief system. It is really too bad that he has chosen a very unforgiving political belief system to cast his lot.

Take your energies elsewhere, Jason, and you can still have a political impact if that is your desire, but unfortunately you have chosen the wrong political/evangical group, so you can never be true to yourself.

  3. Ah, the province of my birth is going through an extended existential crisis.

Their lucky golden horseshoe (electing a centrist NDP gov't in the early stages of an oil-price-crash recession) has saved their economy. Now fastest growing in Canada and skilled jobs in the oil sector are now needing workers.

Our (successful?) opposition to KM won't help, but the lemming -like behavior of my former province likely precluded another rational election result with the new CON party that will soon get the province back to the 19th century.
