Comey's Christmas Greeting to Donald Trump

Shortly after disgraced former National Security Adviser, Mike Flynn, pleaded guilty in court this morning, ousted former FBI director, James Comey, tweeted the following biblical missive to - no one, someone, Trump?

“But justice roll down like waters and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream” Amos 5:24 https://t.co/o89PSY1YBd

— James Comey (@Comey) December 1, 2017

Apparently the actual passage reads, "Let justice roll on like a river, righteousness like a never-failing stream!” - but, close enough, we get his point.

  1. Oh yeah, Comey didn't look have to look it up, he was working from memory. :)

  2. The beauty of Elizabethan poetry in the King James version is one reason that some scholars regard it as a unique separate work separate from earlier versions.

  3. Comey is a birdbrain for posting this. Brings to attention how he let Hillary off the hook for violations that would've put any other person in prison for centuries: deleting 30k emails after an FBI subpoena, smashing smart phones with a hammer, violating classified docs (was probably selling them), lying under oath, selling political favors.

What do they got Flynn on? Lying about talking to a Russian ambassador? After a year-long investigation into nonsense allegations of Russians hacking the US election? It's just a distraction to cover up all the real corruption in the DNC and RNC swamps.

  4. "If I win, I am going to instruct my attorney general to get a special prosecutor to look into your situation, because there has never been so many lies, so much deception."

Lock her up! Lock her up!

"She deleted the emails. She has to go to jail."

    Okay.

“I don’t want to hurt the Clintons, I really don’t. She went through a lot and suffered greatly in many different ways. ... It’s just not something that I feel very strongly about.”

So what was that all about?

  5. After the election the corporate media got on its knees and begged Trump not to get a special prosecutor to look into Hillary's corruption. (And said he would be a "dictator" if he did.)

Why? Because it would blow the entire pay-for-play operation in both parties out of the water and produce the biggest scandal in the history of the America that would wreak havoc across Western world - which is rife with corruption and captured democratic institutions. Think of the sex scandal times 100.

It's something that has to happen. Trump has certainly tweeted enough about it demanding that Congress investigate Hillary's obvious corruption instead of wasting time on this Russian fishing expedition. (A naked attempt to nullify democratic election results - and provide cover for DNC neoliberals who bungled a cakewalk election.)

Progressives should want this to happen more than anyone. The Podesta Bros have set up a bribe factory in the DNC - connecting bribe-paying industry to bribe-taking politician. Abby Martin, an independent progressive journalist, does a good expose into this thing.

As long as neoliberal bribe-takers own the Democrat party, the Bernie wing will always be fighting an uphill battle while sleeping with the enemy. A knife in the back at every turn.

Today's progressives are weaklings and cuckolds easily distracted by social justice rituals and virtue signaling. They could use a man like FDR - or at least someone approaching an adult.

They could use someone like Bannon whose primarying Deep State neocons. The bribe-takers in that party are up in arms over Bannon. So is the fake news media. Neoliberals like HRC have no progressive enemies. They just pat progressives on the heads like pets. Hit them on the nose with a newspaper if they start acting up: "bad racist misogynist Bernie Bro!"

  6. Anon, I realize you have come to believe the things you've written here. It's a carefully constructed narrative that you've been fed and I don't have the energy to waste taking it to pieces.

I do thank you for at least being civil in your comments.
