There'll Be No Revelations About Jeffrey Epstein and His Play Pals.

The civil trial of Jeffrey Epstein has been stopped on the courthouse steps.  The multimillionaire serial pedophile threw enough money at the plaintiffs to bury their lawsuit, presumably forever.

Epstein also issued this apology to the plaintiffs' lawyer:
"While Mr. Edwards was representing clients against me, I filed a lawsuit against him in which I made allegations about him that the evidence conclusively proves were absolutely false. The truth was that his aggressive investigation and litigation style was highly effective and therefore troublesome for me," said Epstein's statement, which was read in court.
"I am now admitting that I was wrong and that the things I said to try to harm Mr. Edwards’s reputation as a trial lawyer were false. I sincerely apologize for the false and hurtful allegations I made and hope some forgiveness for may acknowledgement of wrongdoing."
Epstein had no apologies or remorse for the plaintiffs themselves, girls who alleged they too were victims of the serial pedophile.

  1. Nope,

It’s an MSM fail again. This “settled” lawsuit was an almost decade old “libel” lawsuit by Epstien’s legal team to try to “shut down” Edwards, the lawyer for many of the victims.

Also known as “lawfare” or “paper terrorism”, where in Billionaires spend a few paltry millions to keep people tied up in Court, and bound to silence by injunctions.

The day it was supposed to go to Court, and Epstien’s Legal Team would have to disprove testimony of the sex crimes, cover ups and all the other dirt, they “settled” for an undisclosed amount of money for Edwards, compensation for some of the victims, and a Public Apology.

These things ususally also include an NDA to keep things quiet, but no NDA,

And Edwards is going forward with other Civil suits against Epstien, Miami Dade, and the State Attourney General’s office, and the FDLE, on the behalf of his two existing clients, along with new clients that have joined the suits.

Adam Silverman at Baloon Juice has been covering the cases, the Expose’s and how the MSM, other than the Miami Herald have been either dropping the ball, or twisting the lede, or flooding social media with misdirection.

  2. Pedophiles always have the backs of other pedophiles. They support one another to the bitter end and usually have the money to do so. It happened in Vancouver not that many years ago and one young lawyer who was challenging the status quo was run out of town on a rail with a multitude of threats following this upstart.
    t
The group behind the threat did not just include lawyers as there were other "higher" ups involved.

Remember the Prince George incident as well? This involved young girls who came into contact with our vaunted "justice" system.

These guys are just as well protected as the priests from the RC church.

  4. I'm thinking that the Miami Herald might just have a better handle on this than you do, Jay. Just sayin'. They've done an intensive amount of digging and reporting on this, including going through several thousand pages of documents. If you've got something that disproves the Herald's reporting, let's see it.

    1. “The final paragraph is where they buried the lede, as the saying goes. The lawsuit settled this morning IS NOT the Federal lawsuit seeking to set aside the Federal non-prosecution agreement that current Labor Secretary Alex Acosta negotiated and agreed to when he was a US Attorney in south Florida in 2008. The lawsuit settled this morning was between Epstein and one of the attorneys representing Epstein’s victims.”

““Everybody for 10 years has taken snipets of information and tried to make headlines — sometimes right and sometimes wrong.. and half the time I felt like I was just trying to correct the record,” said Brad Edwards, attorney representing victims of sex offender Jeffrey Epstein

Or, you know, the Miami Herald,

“Jeffrey Epstein, serial sex abuser, settles one case, apologizes. Next up: federal court

  5. Lulumay, I suppose you're right. That seems to be increasingly common, borderline "standard," these days just like Trump settling the fraud complaints over Trump University.

  6. .. welcome to the litigious and religious zone..
Epstein is on the run.. his lawyers as always rule the day

Does anyone actually think the President of the United States
Prince Andrew, Bill Clinton.. and an A-list of others
are asleep at the wheel ? When one commands the 'power'
one flexes it, lest it turns upon them

Epstein by all indications has footage or photos or both
of the insanity at his various 'get togethers'
Aside from the kings & kinks of the upper strata
just try to imagine the lesser lights who would fall from grace

This is full retreat.. rearguard action, damn the torpedoes..
Imagine the political life expectancy of a 'head of state'
immortalized on video with a 13 year old
or jerking their junk into a potted plant in front of one
or in the 'company' of one .. stark nakid in the pool

  7. In the meantime, some pathetic poor milquetoast "Joe Average" guy is still required to register as a "sex offender" for the rest of his life for having committed the insidious and unspeakable crime of "Public Urination" on the side of some Interstate highway a few years back......

  8. I'm not going to pretend I know what happened or didn't happen here, but I'm not just going to assume his guilt, I need evidence. If such evidence exists, then it's irresponsible not to bring it forward.

    1. While the FBI was still investigating over 100 other victims and charges, The Party of Family Values AG quickly arranged a plea deal.

Epstein plead guilty to 2 counts of sexual assault of a minor, 2 counts of trafficing a person across International Borders for sexual exploitation,

Accepted a life long “sexual offender” designation and a sentence of 13 months, served in a Club Fed, which he was free to leave during the day between 8 am and 8 pm.

The deal also gave all the other indicted, unindicted and unknown co-conspirators Federal Immunity from Prosecution.

Acosta later got a total of $25,000 for his Election Campaign from Epstien’s lawyers.

  10. Gyor, this isn't a matter of guilt. Epstein's guilt was established by his guilty plea years ago.
