"When the Looting Starts, the Shooting Starts."

Donald Trump wants the governor of Minnesota to put his collective knee on the carotid artery of Minneapolis demonstrators rioting over the police execution of George Floyd, an unarmed and handcuffed black man.

Late Thursday, President Donald Trump blasted the "total lack of leadership" in Minneapolis. "Just spoke to Governor Tim Walz and told him that the Military is with him all the way. Any difficulty and we will assume control but, when the looting starts, the shooting starts," he said on Twitter.

  1. Yes, well, property crime is so much more important than racist cops choking out citizens in the street for nothing more than allegedly passing a fake $20 bill. Trump is a sick man in a sick society.

  2. Since Trump earlier this year took a huge dump on the US constitution, there is simply no way to contain this beast, this horrid, disgusting, racist con man (surprisingly, there is no end to the adjectives available to describe this creature) who will likely cruise to an electoral college "victory" in November. It remains to be seen as to how much further into the sewer they can sink as a nation, but is any of this really a surprise? BC Waterboy

  4. Both Twitter and Facebook are owned by oligarchs. Turns out Facebook's owner, the petulant billionaire with zero EQ is in the bag with Donald while Twitter's owner is mildly pushing back.

    Note
"The Cambridge Analytica scandal changed the world – but it didn't change Facebook. " Trump can say whatever he wants on FB.

"The president’s tweet earned a warning label from Twitter for violating its policies on “glorifying violence.” and labeling Trump's vote-by-mail tweets as lies.

Trump has successfully bullied and suborned most of the US gov't ... will social media be the platform for final battle? ;-)

  5. We've endured this jerk for so long that every day seems like a "Groundhog Day" but I'm getting the feeling that Trump is in Captain Queeg mode. He seems increasingly erratic, decompensating. I wonder if he's gone rogue bull again because it's hard to imagine the stuff he's pulling comes from his advisors.
