Oddly enough in today's Washington Post ,comments on one article were very much on track with this subject. The first few comments were Americans wishing to move to Canada .
Yes we have problems but ,touch wood, they are manageable unlike the USA which is out of control and in free-fall. Our trouble making elected officials such as Jason Kenny are struggling to remain relative to today's events.
As long as we remain alert we can stave off the carnage ,I see, by years end in the USA and the UK; which I suggest will be really pissed it left the EU by then.
Do you really think the UK is in the same spiral as the US, TB? That would be a disaster. What would remain of the Anglosphere - Ireland, Scotland, Canada, New Zealand and maybe Australia. I wonder what would happen to New England and the Pacific Northwest. It's not hard to imagine America fracturing. What do you think?
As I have said before, the USA is too big and diverse to succeed much like the old USSR. China too is not one cohesive group, it's success governed by an iron fist. The UK is busy blaming the world for it's own failures and puts it's future in the hands of old Etonians and a failed understanding of history. How will it end? No idea. Without the suppression of information in history we all have to face demons and hard truths.

Well, TB, as the Chinese saying goes "May you live in interesting times." I think we're getting a snootful of that.
