Watch it if you've got the strength and then reflect on Canada as a petro-state and the driving forces behind it, the Liberal Party and the Conservative Party of Canada.  Time is running out. Carbon taxes won't get us where we need to be, not in time. We know that the global economy has to cut greenhouse gas emissions by half by 2030. Canada is nowhere near that target. Our focus is on a rapid expansion of the production and export of high-carbon, high-cost, low-value garbage fuels like bitumen.
