At least Clarence Thomas' accuser, Anita Hill, was also black. Now Herman Cain has a real problem. His fourth accuser has come forward in the company of, wretch, attorney Gloria Allred, and she's white.
Sharon Bialek claims Cain took her out for dinner and then attempted to grope her in his car, putting his hand up her skirt. She alleges Cain also tried to press her head into his lap.
Of course race shouldn't matter, even in the United States, but if there's one thing we've learned during the Obama presidency, it still does and big time. The specter of a wealthy, powerful black man groping poor white women is the last thing Herman Cain needs. It's probably the best news Mitt Romney has had since Rick Perry went off the deep end last week.
The Cain campaign is doing the only thing left to it at this point, outright denial. The problem is that there are a few points in Bialek's narrative that can be fairly easily confirmed if they're true.
