Canadians Aren't Buying Harper's Foreign Policy

Stephen Harper likes to make himself out to be a highly-principled statesman, decisive and morally just. Of course that's what he thinks of his idol, George Bush, and he's trying to stay in lockstep with Washington, so why would he think any differently?

A poll recently conducted by the Independent Research Group suggests that 56% of Canadians now disapprove of the Conservatives' handling of foreign affairs. We're also pretty mixed on Stevie's abilities. 36% of the survey respondents said Harper was "incompetent" while a like-number, 35%, presumably the folks who voted for him, found him competent and 20% were undecided.
