Not to speak ill of the dead, but one famous line comes to mind when I think of someone who has so profoundly damaged democracy...ding dong.

All I can remember her for, apart from that fright wig she always sported, is the human rights atrocity that was Section 28.

I'll believe she's really dead after a month or two.

It's always tough when we lose a truly great woman, one who touched so many lives and brought so much happiness.

I'll miss Annette Funicello, gone to Mouseketeer Heaven, age 70.

And to think that Mugsy got 18 years on Annette - not fair - especially given how severe and cruel her form of MS was. And then there was Roger Ebert, an incredible contributor to society and critical thinking, also dead 18 years younger than Mugsy and having lived without speech or the capacity to eat for the last many years. Her and Ronnie are lucky to have lived as long as they did and oblivious to the damage they did till their last days.
