They're the nemesis of Trump's "little green men." Portland's Wall of Moms, decked out in yellow t-shirts stood between the Trump Thugs and BLM protesters thwarting violence.
Finally Team Trump used tear gas on the Moms. They've even gassed the mayor. Now the Moms have backup - Portland Dads - and they've turned up with a brilliant, totally non-violent weapon of their own - leaf blowers. If you've never seen these modern leaf blowers, trust me they're crazy powerful.
The Thugs fire tear gas you just blow it straight back at them.

Some of the dads brought hockey sticks and used them to slap-shot the CS canisters back at the feds. The local press has really outstanding coverage. The national press is too busy worrying about Trump getting mad at them and cutting off their access to WH scuttlebutt.

I caught some of that video and, all things considered, their slapshot isn't bad. How long do you think Trump will keep that garrison in Portland? I don't think it's delivering the anticipated result.
I'm not so sure, Mound. The anticipated result may be plenty of b-roll for Fox News to scare the bejabbers out of suburban whites. Trump's already using some of the footage in his own ads that claim Biden's going to eliminate the police leaving little old ladies at the mercy of urban thugs. Anyone who watched the candidates debates knows it's nonsense, but we're talking about Fox viewers...

That's the problem in sailing uncharted waters, Cap. Trump is in some ways utterly predictable but in others he's incomprehensible, the product of his compulsive instincts that can change in a matter of hours.
