Police in Bangladesh have arrested four clerics who ordered a 14-year old girl whipped for having an affair with a married man. The clerics sentenced the girl to 100-lashes. She received 70-strokes from a bamboo cane before she collapsed. The girl later died in hospital.
The married man? Well he seems to have fled.
Now I could be wrong but I'm guessing that when a married man has sex with a 14-year old girl, it's not an 'affair' but something considerably more odious. Religious tolerance is fine but any religion whose clerics give orders like this and whose adherents obey them needs to be suppressed.
