It speaks volumes that Justin Trudeau's position on the Boycott/Divest/Sanction movement is in lockstep with Stephen Harper's. Those two and their parties are of one mind. Their kid sister, Elizabeth May, is with them even if her Green Party membership, for now at least, isn't.
Chris Hedges cuts through their bullshit on BDS.

Thanks for this posting Mound. I had caught this interview half way through the other day and was planning to go back and watch it from the beginning. I did that today with your video posting.
You're probably aware that the US just gave Israel 38 Billion dollars. Also in Hillary Clinton's speech to AIPAC not too long ago she said that she would up the level of the US's relationship with Israel. What did she mean by that? I thought that was a prophetic thing for her to say. I took it for code meaning that if she became president, Isreal could do a full scale attack on Palestine and steal what's left of Palestinian land. They could exercise total violence against the Palestinians that are still left and unlike any violence and theft that has gone before, Israel can complete the process of genocide started in 1948 and either evict almost all of the Palestinians from their homeland, or destroy them on a massive scale. With Hillary as president, Israel in their domination and violence imposed on Palestinians can go for it so to speak and the US will support them completely in this final phase of death and destruction against the Palestinian people and their land.
Maybe I'm reading too much into what Hillary said, but I fear if Hillary becomes president, Israels conduct in the destruction of Palestine will be of apocalyptic proportions.
As to our spineless PM, I await what political or legislative obstacles he and his sychophantic party will attempt to put in place, to stop Canadians from supporting the BDS movement, no matter that this prevention once agaiN would violate our right to freedom of speech.
The Liberal supporting of the motion against the BDS movement in itself, is already a violation of our right to freedom speech.
Today is the first day I've been able to get on Progressive Bloggers. I really missed my daily read of yours and a few of the other bloggers posts.
