There's Nothing I Can Say.

This woman, a young nurse, went to New York, the American Covid-19 epicenter. I have nothing worthy to say.

Appalling.

Did you read Gwynne Dyer's essay, "Missing The Bus?"

https://prairiedogmag.com/missing-the-bus/

Dyer accuses Western countries of failure to react when the virus showed up in China. "They didn’t even stock up on masks, ventilators and protective clothing. They let the infection spread so widely that only a long, full lockdown could contain it. Why? Arrogance, wishful thinking, and a fierce determination not to harm economic growth."

Once again, Toby, the economy defeats the public interest. We elect those people but it's when we need them that we discover they're busy elsewhere.

Trump did it. Boris did it. So did Justin. And their decisions cost lives.
