Now is the time to fax that letter to Iggy you posted earlier.

It's already had about 2,000 hits on a mirror site and it seems that others have sent it to the opposition caucus.

I am so thrilled that Harper's regime has just been voted down, and not on the budget but for bloody CONTEMPT.

This is a gift to the opposition if they pull their brains out of their backsides. It's a historical first and an opportunity to frame the election on Stevie and his goons incompetence and dishonesty.

I loved your letter to Iggy, MoS! I certainly want to see a bloodsport - full on kicking to the curb action.

I don't think there was ever a vote on the budget, so how could the Opposition have voted against it?

On another topic. We were kidding about Harper leading the Libya mission. Here we go.

"Canadian to lead NATO's Libya mission"

Not sure if you've seen Laila Yuiles list of 100 reasons Gordon Campbell had to go, but a similar list aimed at Harper may be good. I think that the blogosphere and social media is really going to have to work hard if we don't want to have a Harper majority government...

No Annie the budget vote was pre-empted by the contempt vote but Iggy suggested he did intend to make the campaign a debate on the economy. I assume the Liberals intend to unveil a platform that is heavily focused on the economy which I'm sure would please Harper no end. Harper has the Canadian public mainly convinced he's a competent manager.

Could Harper win a majority? Sure, especially if the Libs try to fight this election from the centre-right, Iggy's comfort zone. If you caught Bil Maher's show last night you might have heard Democratic governor Rendell blaming his party's disastrous failings in 2010 on Democrats who steered to the centre-right.

Pathetic. The Liberal party has lost its way. If Harper wins a majority Canadians will have the Liberals to blame for it.

"Harper has the Canadian public mainly convinced he's a competent manager." Only because the Liberals have been lame ducks. They really need to put forward something for Canadians to think they would be better managers which I am thinking they won't be.
