Somebody Shot Down Somebody Over Benghazi
BBC News has video of what appears to be a jet fighter shot down and falling in flames over Benghanzi. Stills from the video suggest it is indeed one of Gaddafi's dozen or so remaining Mirage F1s.

I'm sure our lauded principles will be enforsed elsewhere and that Blogging Tories will demand something similar for Bahrain....
How many nations U.S-NATO will police? No fly-zone for Libya. What about Bahrain, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Nigaria and many other Middle Eastern and Northern African countries have gone into chaos? We hear very little about Iraq but I understand demonstrations there are also ongoing. Why so much emphasis on Libya?
Why Libya? Because parts of Europe are dependent on Libyan oil and Gaddafi has become much too unstable to be left in control of it.
We're just fine with these tin pot dictators until we see signs that they're slipping. When that happens we start professing concern for the up & comers.
