Willful, that's right. Any global warming denialist who raises the University of East Anglia Climate Research Unit's hacked e-mails as supposed proof of a scientific conspiracy that proves global warming is an elaborate hoax is a goddamned liar. Four separate investigations into the e-mails and the scientists behind them have totally cleared the University, its Climate Research Unit as well as professor Phil Jones and his colleagues.
While the latest report, the result of a six month inquiry by senior British public servant, Sir Muir Russell, concluded the "rigour and honesty" of the scientists was beyond doubt and the allegations that they sought to subvert the peer review process to censor criticism were utterly groundless, the scientists were criticized for being "unhelpful and defensive" in responding to Freedom of Information requests from the denialist trolls.
There it is, game, set and match. It's over. There was no conspiracy. There was no hoax, no coverup, no subversion of the peer review process. That was all crap, from the beginning, and if you're too lazy or too ignorant to understand that, well that just means you're full of crap yourself.
