NASCAR Has Had Its Fill of Redneck Shitkickers

Darlington, South Carolina

NASCAR, every southern redneck's Mecca, has seen the light. They have banned the Confederate battle flag from every track, from every race.  Not just on the track either. The whole site, "the premises."

I suppose that means "no" to Klan robes too, eh?  No "burnin' cross" tailgate parties?  Ah, man. What's a good ol' boy to do?

Kudos to the US military for belatedly deciding to rid this disgusting racist scourge from their institutions.  About time.

The night they drove ol' Dixie down...

This is going to be hard to do in Georgia and Mississippi. The Georgia state flag is the Stars and Bars with the state seal added to the circle of stars, while the Mississippi flag still incorporates the Confederate battle flag. Are they going to ban those state flags too?

I'm pretty sure NASCAR can't order those flags banned. After all, wasn't it "states' rights" that southerners have been using to justify the Civil War ever since they lost?
