Adios, Bob

I've waited but it's time to say farewell to the legendary bassist, Bob Babbitt.   He was an enormously talented musician but a far bigger man.

When I first heard Joan I felt liberated, yes what is god was one of us? What if we were indeed god? Why are we so f---ed up as a species? Destroying the earth that feeds clothes and maintains us for a piece of paper with pictures and numbers on it? Can you eat it if you are starving? No I don't think so...

I am passionate about the only source and inspiration to me, the EartH, spell again, H in front of E turns Earth to Heart. Now think again, there is no such thing as a coincidence? Is there? Or would it be easier to say this old man has lost his marbles?

Shouldn't I have all of this passionate love for the most beautiful planet scientists ever discovered in the universe and damn their feet were standing right upon it, my oh my how brilliant they have become...

I remember talking to Murray Gell-Mann a Noble prize winning physicist in 1969 and well he was not that much different than you and me. Only he was a resource hog. Which means take what you can while it is still there, and screw the ones that come after because they feel no obligation to the the ones coming in future generations and more and more you strike me as one of these people.

Now are you going to turn me in to the Harper squad for that?

I hope so...

I am and have always been prepared:) R U ?
