A notorious Russian prison in Moscow is going to install tanning beds to improve the health of its inmates.
"We are developing additional medical services ... and even sunbeds will be put in place," Butyrka's head Sergei Telyatnikov told state-run radio station Vesti FM.
The sunbeds, which Telyatnikov said would be used for medical purposes, will be installed by the end of the year, the state-run RIA news agency said."
Russia's prison service recently admitted half of its inmates are seriously ill with diseases ranging from HIV to tuberculosis.
Well, I guess if you're going to be slung into a dank, 19th century Moscow dungeon, a tanning bed might not be such a bad idea.

The Medical evidence is increasingly showing both the importance of vitamin D and that the best way to get it is exposure to ultraviolet light.
They're referring to natural sunlight. Tanning beds do nothing except speed up skin cancers.
I've never experience those. I only take brazilian bikini waxing, I thought of trying those. Good luck to me....
