In recent years we've been treated to numerous examples of homophobic right wingers who get later get caught in homosexual scandals. It's said the biggest closet in Washington belongs to Congressional Republicans.
Now a study from the University of England in Essex (?) and the University of California, Santa Barbara confirms the link between extreme homophobia and same-sex desire.
Professor Richard Ryan of the University of Rochester, co-authored the study and says extreme homophobics with gender issues tend to result from authoritarian upbringing.
It's no wonder so many Tories/Republicans are homophobes.
