Okay, I'll Bite. Why Do Evangelicals Flock to Trump?

I stumbled across a reference from their favourite book, Proverbs 6:16-19.

This seems to sum up the things that God of the Bible really detests:

16 There are six things the LORD hates, seven that are detestable to him:
17 haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood,
18 a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are quick to rush into evil,

19 a false witness who pours out lies and a person who stirs up conflict in the community.
What is that but a pretty accurate description of their favourite despot, Donald J. Trump?

Because Evangelical's arn't Christians, they are Pharisee's.

Jay, that threw me for a loop. All I can find online is that Evangelicals are indeed Christians, Christians with issues perhaps. Pharisees, I'm informed, are Jewish.

Know any parts of the New Testament that Evangelicals hold to like "love thy neighbor", "feed the miltitudes", "heal the sick", "shelter the poor", etc?

Christian's follow the word and example of Christ.

Evangelicals cling to Levidicus and other parts of the Old Testament,

those are copies of the Jewish book,
