Supposedly this is legit. Chinese police stop a 6-person mini-van only to find there are 50-people riding in it. I sure wish there was video of the other side of the van.
Buster Keaton invented that shot of dozens of people getting out of a car, way back in the day.
His cameraman was a guy named Elgin Lessly who Keaton dubbed "the human metronome" cause he could handcrank the camera forwards and backwards so precisely.

Not the car effect but actually more difficult.
