Hilarity Ensues in the House of Commons

A bit of stand up comedy in the House of Commons as the prime minister hosted a "Daughters of the Vote" gathering.  A few of the attendees greeting Justin Trudeau by turning their backs on him. What if that catches on?

The second clip shows the prime minister extolling diversity but adding that it only works when there is trust. Sort of like when we trusted his solemn promise to implement electoral reform, or his promise to bring reconciliation with First Nations or that goddamned whopper about "social licence."

He doesn't speak, he lectures, self-righteously, smugly and most of what he says are outright lies!

I can no longer count the lies. The big one that sticks with me is Proportional Representation like Ireland, Belgium, Denmark, Finland and Norway. But "NO' we can't do it here. That is why he is PM of Canada....we voted him in for that reason. Anyong

Pam, he is patronizing of his audiences, condescending to his critics - that is when he's not just plain insulting: "Thank you for your donation" to the First Nations of Grassy Narrows.

I can't argue with you there, Anyong.

Yeah Mound that was really offensive what he said to First Nations of Grassy Narrows. When I think of the dignity Chief Phillips showed the other day when he was criticizing Trudeau and I compare that to Trudeau's insulting remark at Grassy Narrows and Trudeau sounds like a belligerant child.

He's emerging now, Pamela. His arrogance and his contempt for others who stand in his way is manifest.

Keep on pounding away with your nasty sniping. I think there is a reason they call that magazine CARP. Senior citizens carp, carp, carping. At this rate you will get your wish, a conservative government of complete fools who will deny climate change until hell freezes over. Keep it up guys.

Thanks for the thoughtful insights, Anon.
