Steve knows what Obama thinks of the Tar Sands and the guy who drycleans Steve's pants knows how much our Furious Leader is looking forward to chatting about Athabasca.
Mr. Energy Superpower is getting ready to eat some humble pie on his beloved Tar Sands, the filthiest energy project on the planet. Preparing for his big, upcoming suck-up moment, Steve blurted this out this morning on some Calgary radio show:
"To be frank on the oilsands, we've got to do a better job environmentally. We hear a lot of pressure on that."
Oh Steve, you're just starting to feel the pressure. Furious Leader then went on about how he'll point out American dependence on coal, adding, "That's pretty dirty, too."
For God's sake Steve, just don't try to tell Obama that the dog ate your homework.
