Shinead O'Connor was calling the Catholic Church out on their crimes, long before it was "fashionable", when Politician's, Cop's and Media were still busy protecting pedofile Priests and Murder Schools.
Did you see Maher's show Friday night? I don't agree with a lot of what he says but he did point out that our political correctness is becoming our undoing. We can't even bear a bit of satire unless it passes our PC tests.
Have to admit that one left me kind of cold, but I really liked the next one down about Shane MacGowan's liver. I think many followers of his career have wondered how it's managed to keep going all these years.
What , what, what? "I don't agree with a lot of what he says but he did point out that our political correctness is becoming our undoing. We can't even bear a bit of satire unless it passes our PC tests." I don't get it Mound! Here the majority of people blame the Liberals for that. Anyong

Yes, it is satire. The Irish Craik makes that clear. All of their items are hogwash but, like the Onion, oddly satisfying.
I found it to be dismissive and mysoginistic.
O'Connor, despite her struggles with illness have created more great art and spoken more truth to power, than any current Media.
It's satire, Jay. Chill.
It's not good satire, Mound, and it punches down, not up.
We are supposed to be sensitive to that sort of thing these days, not promoting it.

I don't watch racist islamophobes,
And I ignore the "comity" police.
